My research concerns subjectivity, collectivity and standards in connection with practical intervention. Theoretically, subjectivity is regarded as a participatory relationship (I and we) that is constituted and develops in various kinds of production - in the meaning of both creation and staging. Standards are the ideals and hopes that are immanent to practices, and those that are imposed on them - and mostly both. Empirically, the field is social work with young people using drugs. I work as head of the research center ![]() I participate in the research networks
I am co-editor of the open access journal Outlines. Critical Practice Studies. My teaching is mostly in the field of community psychology, for which I also work as coordinator. I also work as 'professor 2' attached to the Master in Psycho-Social Work at Høgskolen i Østfold, Fredrikstad, Norway.
